The IOF said that “all options are on the table” for a possible ground invasion against Lebanon, with 100,000 reservists deployed in the northern border.
The current week marked a considerable escalation by Israel against Lebanon, which was perceived as an attempt to restrain Hezbollah from supporting Iran if the latter was attacked.
The fresh aggression is part of the ongoing Israeli violations of Lebanon’s sovereignty and the ceasefire deal with Hezbollah, which came into effect in November 2024.
